Cayden Condit of the Lindenwood women's wrestling team received the Tricia Saunders High School Excellence Award this past weekend. This award is named in honor of Tricia Saunders, a four-time World Champion and women's wrestling pioneer. To receive this award, someone must demonstrate excellence in wrestling, scholastic achievement, character, citizenship and community service.
"I am very grateful to be the Tricia Saunders award winner for Colorado this year." said Condit. I am very proud of myself and all my hard work I've put in over the years. I would like to thank my family and coaches for all their support all these years and winning this award has motivated me to work even harder to get to the next level. It has shown me the more work that I put in, the better the outcome will be!"
