The inaugural NCAA Women's Wrestling National Championships are scheduled to begin on March 6th in Coralville, Iowa.
The NCAA announced in January that women's wrestling was added as the 91st championship sport, providing another athletics opportunity for female athletes to compete at the NCAA Divisions I, II and III levels.
The sport had been part of the NCAA's Emerging Sports for Women program since 2020.
The Lions finished seventh nationally last season with three All-American selections.
