Three Olympic weightlifters finished in the top 10 in their class at the American Open Finals December 1-4 at the Georgia International Convention Center in Atlanta.

Sam Leonard posted the best results for the Lions as he competed in the 55kg division. He snatched 78kg to take third, lifted 95kg in the clean and jerk to take fourth, and his total of 173kg was enough for fourth place.

Competing in the 71kg weight class, Marina Tuono snatched 86kg and lifted 108kg in the clean and jerk for a total of 194kg to take sixth in all three competitions.

In the 109kg weight class, James Tice snatched 142kg to take eighth, lifted 165kg for 12^th, and his 307kg total was enough for 10^th place.

Bri Sepulveda snatched 63kg to finish 28^th in the 55kg weight class. She lifted 90kg in the clean and jerk for 16^th place, and took 22^nd in total with 159kg.

The American Open Finals concluded competition for Olympic weightlifting in the fall.
