On Friday night, the Lindenwood women's lacrosse team (4-4) traveled to Detroit, Mich. to take on the Detroit Mercy Titans. The Lions would pull out a 15-9 victory over the Titans after trailing 5-3 in the first quarter.

The Lions tallied the first goal of the game coming from
Sam Irwin assisted by
Elisabeth Ralph. The Titans would rebound and score five in a row. The Lions would answer back, scoring two goals to end the period shrinking the Titans lead to two. The Lions would control the second quarter, scoring three times and shutting out the Titans. The Lions would lead 6-5 going into the second half. Scorers in the first half included: Irwin,

In the third quarter, the Lions would tally first coming from an Arnold goal. The Lions would score four times while the Titans would score three times in the third frame, with the Lions leading 10-8 going into the fourth quarter. In the fourth quarter, the Lions would dominate. The Lions would score five times and hold the Titans to just one goal in the fourth, to end the game winning 15-9.
Eleanor Kast started in net for the Lions making five saves on fourteen shots on net.
