Lindenwood women's basketball head coach
Amy Eagan has announced the addition of seven newcomers to the 2023-24 roster. The group includes five freshman and two transfers.

Ellie Brueggemann | Fr. | 5'11 | Owasso, Okla. | Lincoln High School
Brueggemann was a four-time all-conference performer at Lincoln High School in Owasso, Okla. Elle surpassed the 1,000-career point mark during her junior campaign. Brueggemann earned OGBCA and OCA All-State honors as a senior, while being named to the Daily Oklahoman Class 4A State Tournament All-Tournament Team in her final year.
Mykayla Cunningham | Fr. | 5'9 | Salina, Kan. | Salina Central High School/SPIRE Academy
Cunningham spent the first three years of her prep career at Salina Central High School in Salina, Kan. During that time, she was three-time all-county selections, while being named all-league twice. She earned an all-tournament selection during state two times. In three years at Salina, she finished with the sixth most steals and third most assists in program history.
Cunningham transferred to SPIRE Academy in Ohio for her final season, becoming part of the inaugural women's basketball team. She was also the first dual athlete at SPIRE, competing in track and field as well.
Kaylen Evans | Jr. | 5'6 | New Lenox, Ill. | Loyola University Chicago/Morton College
Evans was named a JUCO All-American last season at Morton College where she knocked down 114 three pointers, the third most in all junior college. During the 2022-23 campaign, she eclipsed  the 600-point mark, becoming the first Morton College women's basketball player to hit that plateau in a single season. For her efforts, she was one of 12 players to earn National All-Team honors, while making the Region IV and Skyhawk conference first team.
Before her time at Morton, Evans appeared in 36 games across two years at Loyola University Chicago
Gracie Kelsey | Fr. | 6'2 | Grover, Mo. | East Buchanan High School
Kelsey had a monster senior season, averaging 21.3 points, 13.6 rebounds, 1.6 steals, 2.1 blocks and 2.4 assists. She was named the ANPN Area Player of the Year by the St. Joseph News-Press after averaging 21.5 points, 14.3 rebounds, 2.2 blocks, and 1.3 steals during her junior year. She led East Buchanan to last year's Class 3 quarterfinals, where their season ended against eventual state champ El Dorado Springs. Kelsey was an All-State selection as a freshman and helped East Buchanan to a Class 2 state championship in 2020. Missouri Prep Girls Hoops ranks her as the 18th ranked prospect in the state and number one in the state at center in the class of '23.
Stevi Lockhart | Fr. | 5'11 | Sudan, Texas | Sudan High School
Lockhart comes to Lindenwood after a decorated career at Sudan High School. A McDonald's All-American nominee, Lockhart poured in over 2,000 points in her prep career. She was a four-time all-state and all-region selection. The 5'11 guard set multiple school records, including the most assists in a single season (94%), most assists in a season (114), blocked shots in a career (119), and three pointers made in a career (243). Off the court, Lockhart was a two-time academic All-State honoree.
Alyssa Nielsen | Fr. | 6'0 | Bixby, Okla. | Bixby High School
Nielsen was named OGBCA All-State and OCA All-State by class. She was tabbed All-State honorable mention by Tulsa World and The Oklahoma in each of her junior and senior seasons. She was a three-time honorable mention All-State by Tulsa World. Â Throughout her prep career, Nielsen landed on multiple all-tournament teams. In the classroom, Nielsen garnered academic all-conference honors all four years, while also being an academic All-State selection.
Justis Odom | Jr. | 6'2 | Indianapolis Ind. | Texas A&M Corpus Christi/Dodge City CC
Odom arrives in St. Charles, Mo. after spending last season at Texas A&M Corpus Christi. During her time with the Islanders, Odom averaged 1.2 points and 2.0 rebounds per contest. She also blocked 11 shots on the year. Odom helped the Islanders to a regular season championship and WNIT appearance.
Prior to her time at Texas A&M CC, she played two seasons at Garden City College where she was ranked the second-best post player and the No. 16 player in the nation overall by Dan Olson from Collegiate Girls Basketball Report. Odom was tabbed honorable mention all-conference in 2021-22.
The women's basketball roster will feature a total of 10 newcomers in 2023-24. These seven will join Kaliyah Sain, Mya Skoff and Aalayah Wilson who signed with the program in November.
