Cycling finished seventh in the Team Omnium and
Dillon Geary took fourth in the Men's Individual Omnium at the USA Cycling Collegiate Road National Championships May 5-7 in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
The Lions earned 316 points to finish just nine points behind SCAD – Savannah in sixth and just 23 points behind SCAD – Atlanta in fifth. Colorado Mesa won the team title with 444 points, followed by Milligan in second with 404 and Fort Lewis in third with 390.
Geary tallied a total of 110 points to finish 39 points behind men's champion Dusan Kalaba from Midwestern State and 31 points behind Ian Anderson from Colorado Mesa in second.
Thomas Fuller totaled 70 points to finish in 13
th with
Asa Black taking 29
th.
Staci McCudden was the top Lindenwood rider in the Women's Omnium, taking 25
th with 29 points.
Lindenwood began competition with the Team Time Trial on Friday. The Lady Lions squad of
Emma Balding,
Megan Lester,
Staci McCudden, and
Marissa Carter posted a time of 46:24.3 to take eighth place. The Lions team of
Coren Hendricks,
Riley Wrightsman,
Dillon Geary, and
Thomas Fuller finished fifth with a time of 37:04.5.
In the Women's Road Race on Saturday, McCudden was the top Lindenwood rider in 30
th place.

Geary was just over a half-minute from a podium spot in the Men's Road Race, ultimately settling for fifth place. Fuller was not too far behind in ninth. Hendricks finished 42

The Criteriums wrapped up things on Sunday with McCudden and Lester finishing with the same time of 1:14:20 in the women's event. McCudden was awarded 23
rd place while Lester took 35
th. Four Lady Lions finished together in the next group just four-seconds later.

In the men's event, Geary led the Lions in seventh place with a time of 1:21:20.
Brody Burnham crossed the finish line 38-seconds later to take 15

th.
The Collegiate Road National Championships wrapped up the season for the cycling team.
