SEASON REVIEW
The Lindenwood softball team concluded its first NCAA Division I year with a 16-32 record, including an 8-15 mark inside the Ohio Valley Conference. The Lions earned the seven seed at the OVC Tournament.

Dallis Darnell garnered all-conference honors for Lindenwood. West was tabbed a second-team selection, while Darnell earned an all-newcomer accolade.
HIGHLIGHTS
- Lindenwood picked up its first Division I win in a 1-0 shutout victory over Western Michigan on February 12. In that game, Amanda Weyh tossed a complete game shutout while striking out four.
- Weyh spun a team-high nine complete games during the year. She also led the team in wins (6), ERA (3.45) and innings pitched (113.2).
- The Lions finished the year with a winning record at home, going 12-10. Some key wins at Lou Brock Sports Complex included Northern Illinois and sweeps over Tennessee Tech, Evansville, and Eastern Illinois.
- In the game against the Huskies, Avery Wapp compiled 15 strikeouts. Across nine innings of work. The freshman registered 95 Ks from the circle this season, fifth most in the OVC.
- Lindenwood swept Eastern Illinois late in the year at home. Two out of the three wins in that series were of the walk-off variety as Darnell and Chloe Honchar each came through with big hits.
- Morgan Gersch was named OVC Player of the Week once this season.
- Irelynn West led the team in batting average at .404 and hits with 44. The Kansas City, Mo. native was third in the conference with 15 doubles.
