ST. CHARLES, MO. – The Lindenwood field hockey team (0-2) will take on the Colgate University Raiders (1-3, 0-0 Patriot League), on Friday, September 7^th at 4:00 pm at SportPort International, in Maryland Heights, Mo.

The Lions are coming off their second straight loss on the year to Saint Louis University, with the Lions falling to the Billikens 2-1 in overtime. Alice Van Hemelen and Riley Enget lead the Lions in points with two, both having one goal. Hailey Bainer and Mia Simpson lead the Lions in assists with one. Kyla Cooke started all games in net for the Black and Gold, making fifteen saves on five goals against. The Lions are looking for their first on the year against the Raiders.

This will be the first time Lindenwood will matchup against Colgate. The Raiders are currently 1-3 on the year and in their most recent matchups, the Raiders dropped games to Sacred Heart and Lock Haven. Rachel Alderfer leads the front for the Raiders with four points coming off two goals. The Raiders have five individuals with at least one goal on the year.
