ST. CHARLES, Mo. - Lindenwood softball released their 2024 schedule on Thursday as they start their second Division I season in program history. LU is coming off a 16-32 record in 2023 with an appearance at the OVC Tournament.

The Lions will start 2024 on the road playing in three tournaments. Lindenwood travels to San Antonio, Texas to start the season to participate in the Incarnate Word Kickoff Classic where they will play games against UIW, Prairie View A&M and Buffalo on February 9-11.

The following weekend, the Lions will play in the ULM Warhawk Invitational from Feb. 16-18 and will take on Louisiana-Monroe and Louisiana Tech. Their final away tournament will by in Boiling Spring, N.C. as they participate in the Gardner-Webb Red and Black Classic. They will play Gardner-Webb, Hampton and Marist on Feb. 23-25.

Lindenwood returns home to the Lou Brock Sports Complex as they host the Lindenwood Invitational on March 1st through the 3rd. Green Bay and Bellarmine will take on Lindenwood during the invitational with Western Illinois also taking on those two teams. LU and WIU will play later in the season during Ohio Valley Conference play.

A double header at Evansville (March 6) and a home and home series against Saint Louis (March 20 and April 3) round out the non-conference for the Lions in 2024. Below are the dates and locations for the 2024 OVC schedule. The OVC Tournament will be held in Peoria, Ill. from May 8-11. Times will be announced at a later date.
