The Lindenwood Baseball program will open the 2024 campaign at the University of Dayton in Dayton, Ohio, in a three-game series on February 16th – 18th. This will serve as the first meeting between Lindenwood and Dayton.
Friday's first pitch, due to cold temperatures, is slated for 9:00 am CST/10:00 am EST and Saturday's will be at 10:00 am CST/11:00 am. Sunday's rubber match is scheduled to begin at 11:00 am CST/12:00 pm EST.
Last season, in their first Division I season, Lindenwood finished 13-42 overall and 8-16 in conference play while two Lions earned Ohio Valley Conference honors. Returning for this season is Easton Rakers, who was named to the all-freshman team and has been named to the 2024 initial Watch List for the 19th Annual National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association Stopper of the Year Award.
Lindenwood is under the direction of PJ Finigan, who is entering his first season as head coach and second with the program.
