The Lindenwood men's volleyball team (10-11, 5-7 MIVA) returns home for the final two home matches of the regular season this weekend, first taking on Purdue Fort Wayne (11-10, 5-7 MIVA) on Friday, before squaring off with No. 9 Ohio State (16-7, 9-4 MIVA) on Saturday. Friday's match is set for 7:00 p.m., while Saturday is a 6:00 p.m. start.

FIRST SERVE
- The Lions will host the final two matches of the season this weekend, hosting Purdue Fort Wayne and No. 10 Ohio State this weekend.
- Lindenwood is coming off a 2-0 week, defeating No. 18 McKendree and Quincy.
- The win over McKendree is the fourth win for the Lions over a ranked team this season.
- The Lions limited the Bearcats to a .141 hit percentage, the lowest output by an opponent this season.
- Lindenwood came back from 2-0 down to defeat the Hawks.
- In that matchup, Kadin Warner and Carter Stenmark provided a spark off the bench as Stenmark tallied 12 kills and a .750 hit percentage, while Warner compiled eight kills.
- The black and gold will be looking to even the season series with both the Mastodons and Buckeyes as each squad bested the Lions earlier this season.
- Connor Sheehan tallied 96 assists in both matches and continues to lead the MIVA and NCAA with 11.16 assists per set.

2024 OUTLOOK
The Lindenwood men's volleyball team currently has 11 matchups against ranked teams on its 2024 schedule. The squad was picked to finished sixth in the Midwestern Intercollegiate Volleyball Association Preseason Poll earning 41 points. Lindenwood returns key pieces to their lineup for 2024, including
A.J. Lewis,
RaShawn Bonner, and
Ian Schuller, who all garnered all-conference honors a year ago. Lewis was named to the preseason all-MIVA team for the upcoming year. Last season, Lewis led the team with 39 service aces and was second on the team with 249 digs.
