A total of 15 men's rugby players have been named to Midwest All-Conference teams for the 2023-24 season. Midwest Rugby Conference (MRC) coaches voted 10 Lions to the First XV Team while an additional five earned Second XV Team status.
Of the 10 First Team members, six came from the forward pack including Conner Devos (Prop),
Chad Tinney (Prop),
Christopher Wallace (Hooker),
Alejandro Martinez Tapia (2nd Row),
Calvin Ihrig (Back Row) and
Eduan van Heerden (Back Row) while the remaining four came from the backfield including
Jeremy Zwick (Scrumhalf),
David Cathcart (Wing),
Declan Ries (Center), and
Bautista Nasta (Wing).
The Lindenwood Second Team members included
Asher Webb (Prop),
Duncan Krige (Back Row),
Byron Forword (Flyhalf),
Stephin Alberts (Center) and
Brendan Mason (Fullback).
These Lions led their team to a 6-0 conference record and the 2024 MRC Championship. A total of 30 MRC players earned All-Conference recognition with 15 on the First Team and 15 on the Second Team.
