- The Lions will look to bounce back when they take on the University of Charleston on Sunday
- Lindenwood has dropped three-straight matches, all coming against ranked teams
- The Black and Gold are coming off a pair of losses to No. 17 UC San Diego, and No. 15 CSUN this past weekend in California
- Both matches went to four sets
- Aidan Curcuru hit well out of the middle, swinging .462 over the course of the week
- Setter Zach Solomon nearly had a pair of double-doubles over the weekend, compiling 32 assists and nine digs against UC San Diego and 37 assists and eight digs against CSUN
- Brendan Louthain leads the team in kills with 44, while Ian Schuller has 43
- The Golden Eagles enter the weekend with a 1-4 record and play in the EIVA
- This will be the third all-time meeting between the Lions and Golden Eagles with the series history tied 1-1
- The last meeting came in 2019
- Head coach Joe Kosciw enters his eighth season at the helm of the program and his 12th at Lindenwood.
2025 OUTLOOK
The Lindenwood men's volleyball team currently has 15 matchups against ranked teams on its 2025 schedule. The squad was picked to finished sixth in the Midwest Intercollegiate Volleyball Association Preseason Poll earning 38 points.
Ian Schuller returns for the Lions. A year ago, Schuller earned Defensive Player of the Week honors one time during the year and his 183 digs led the team. He compiled 319 kills during the season, second most on the team on his way to garnering second-team all-conference honors.
