Men's Volleyball Welcomes Maryville on Saturday

The Lindenwood men's volleyball team (2-3) hosts Maryville on Saturday inside Hyland Arena. First serve is set for 7:00 p.m.

FIRST SERVE
  • The Lions are coming off a dominant 3-0 win over the University of Charleston last Sunday
  • In the win, the Lions swung a season-best .493
  • That effort was led by Brendan Louthain who hit a career-high .588. He also led the Lions with 12 kills in the match
  • Louthain has recorded double-digit kills in four out of five matches so far this season
  • The Lions were solid on the defensive side of the ball, holding Charleston to a season-low .167 hitting percentage
  • Lindenwood tallied a season-high seven blocks on the day

2025 OUTLOOK
The Lindenwood men's volleyball team currently has 13 matchups against ranked teams on its 2025 schedule. The squad was picked to finished sixth in the Midwest Intercollegiate Volleyball Association Preseason Poll earning 38 points. Ian Schuller returns for the Lions. A year ago, Schuller earned Defensive Player of the Week honors one time during the year and his 183 digs led the team. He compiled 319 kills during the season, second most on the team on his way to garnering second-team all-conference honors.

Lindenwood will open MIVA play next Wednesday, February 5 with a matchup against Lewis on the road. First serve is set for 7:00 p.m.
