On Thursday, the Lindenwood football program announced an agreement to play Missouri State in Springfield next season. The Lions are slated to take on the Bears on September 12, 2026.

This will be the second meeting between the two schools but the first since Missouri State made the jump to the FBS level. The Bears are currently 2-3 on the season with a win against Marshall.

Lindenwood is set to return home this weekend in a matchup with UT Martin on Saturday, October 4. Tickets are on sale now at lindenwoodlions.com/tickets
