The Lindenwood baseball team has announced its schedule for the 2026 season. The slate features 32 home games, including a weekend series against 2025 College World Series participant Murray State and a midweek clash against Missouri.
The Lions will head south to start the season with a four-game set at Arkansas Pine Bluff beginning on February 13th. LU will host their home openers on the weekend of February 20th against St. Thomas before welcoming Northern Illinois to Lou Brock Sports Complex the following weekend (Feb. 28 - Mar. 1).
The Lions will hit the road to take on Indiana State in a midweek on March 3rd before heading to Iowa City to face the Hawkeyes on March 6-8. Following the Iowa series, Lindenwood is scheduled to host 10 home games in 14 days with contests against Bradley, Murray State, Dayton, and Eastern Illinois to open conference play before rounding out the homestand against Mizzou on March 24th at 5:00 p.m.
The schedule also features home-and-homes against Southern Illinois and Saint Louis, along with a midweek contest on the road against Evansville on April 8th.
In OVC play, the Lions will also host SEMO (April 2-4), Western Illinois (April 10-12), Little Rock (April 24-26), and Tennessee Tech (May 8-10) while traveling to UT Martin (March 27-29), Morehead State (April 17-19), SIUE (May 1-3), and Southern Indiana (May 14-16).
The 2026 OVC Baseball Championship will be held May 19-23 at Mtn Dew Park in Marion, Illinois. It marks the fourth-straight year and fifth time overall the event has been held there.
Lindenwood posted their highest win total of the Division-I era with an overall record of 30-30 last season, finishing sixth in the OVC with a league record of 14-12 before advancing to the semifinals of the conference tournament.
The Lions return three all-conference selections from last season's squad, including OVC Pitcher of the Year
Josh Newell, OVC Freshman of the Year
Charlie Isom-McCall, and
Kam Edwards.
