Men's Volleyball Travels to No. 10 McKendree on Wednesday

The Lindenwood men's volleyball team (6-11, 3-6 MIVA) takes a two-game winning streak into a road matchup with No. 10 McKendree (13-5, 8-1 MIVA) on Wednesday night at 7:00 p.m.

FIRST SERVE
  • Lindenwood is coming off a 3-1 win over Quincy last Saturday and picked up two wins overall last week
  • In the win over the Hawks, Jacob Christopher tallied a career-high 16 kills, while hitting .560, which is also a career-best. He was also stout on the defensive end, leading the team with three blocks
  • Brendan Louthain was right behind Christopher with 13 kills while hitting .435
  • Louthain currently leads the team with 208 kills on the year
  • Zach Solomon had a terrific all-around game, dishing out 46 assists and leading the team with seven digs
  • He also compiled two services aces which paced the team against the Hawks
  • McKendree comes into the matchup on an eight-game winning streak
  • The Bearcats are currently ranked No. 10 in the AVCA Poll
  • The two teams met earlier this season in St. Charles with McKendree picking up the victory, 3-2
  • In that match, Lindenwood dropped the first two sets, before falling in the fifth, 16-14
  • Carter Stenmark had a career-high 23 kills in the loss
  • Head coach Joe Kosciw enters his eighth season at the helm of the program and his 12th at Lindenwood.
2025 OUTLOOK
The Lindenwood men's volleyball team currently has 13 matchups against ranked teams on its 2025 schedule. The squad was picked to finished sixth in the Midwest Intercollegiate Volleyball Association Preseason Poll earning 38 points. Ian Schuller returns for the Lions. A year ago, Schuller earned Defensive Player of the Week honors one time during the year and his 183 digs led the team. He compiled 319 kills during the season, second most on the team on his way to garnering second-team all-conference honors.
