Fabiana Labrador of the Lindenwood tennis team has earned OVC first team all-conference honors for her efforts during the regular season, as announced by the conference on Wednesday.

Labrador was a mainstay at the No, 1 singles spot all year for the Lions, compiling a record of 5-7, including a 3-2 mark against OVC foes. The sophomore was named OVC singles player of the week one time during the year after securing the win for Lindenwood over IU Indy in a three-hour match on February 8.

In doubles competition, Labrador played mainly at the No. 2 slot, picking up all six of her wins this season from there. The native of Venezuela earned two wins inside conference play during doubles action.

Labrador and the rest of the Lions will be back in action at the OVC Tournament on Thursday, April 17 against SIUE. First serve from St. Louis, Mo. is set for 12:00 p.m.
