After suffering their first loss of the season on Thursday night, the Lindenwood women's soccer team will look to respond on Sunday as they host Belmont. The Lions are 1-0 against the Bruins after posting a 3-1 win in Nashville during the 2024 season. Kickoff from Hunter Stadium is set for noon CT.

Last Time Out
Lindenwood dropped a hard fought 3-2 decision at Kansas City on Thursday. Ava Blum and Tasneem Dizdarevic were the goal scorers for Lindenwood, with Blum scoring the Lions' first first-half goal of the season before Dizdarevic put away her second penalty kick of the year in the second half. It was the first time Lindenwood had allowed more than one goal in a game this season.

Kaitlyn Elliot enters the matchup as the team's leading scorer with two goals on the season, while Sydney Jones has posted two shutouts in goal.

Belmont is outshooting their opponents 31-27 this season with a .516 shots-on-goal percentage. They average 10.3 shots per game.

The Bruins are led by third-year head coach Kelsey Cameron.
