Last Time Out
Lindenwood fell for the first time this season on their home floor last Saturday with a 74-82 loss to Little Rock. Senior Guard Anias Futrell scored a game-high 30 points to lead the Lions offensively, while Jadis Jones poured in 19 points and grabbed a team-high eight rebounds. LU trailed by as many as 14 points in the second half but were able to cut the Trojan lead to one at 70-69 with less than three minutes to go. However, the Lions were never able to grab a lead in the second half as they dropped to 4-2 in the OVC. Lindenwood currently sits in third place in the conference and has the same conference record as Tennessee State, SEMO, Morehead State, and Little Rock.

Lindenwood will now shift their focus to SEMO on Thursday night and will be on the national stage for the first time in the Division I Era. The game against the Redhawks is set for 8 p.m. CT on ESPNU.

Scouting The Redhawks
SEMO is 9-8 on the 2025-26 season and has a 4-2 conference record with wins coming over Tennessee State, Eastern and Western Illinois at home, and Southern Indiana. The Redhawks are led offensively by Junior Guard Luke Almodovar, who is averaging just under 14 points per game. Almodovar, a transfer from St. Francis, has scored 20 or more points in three games played this season and has reached 10 or more points in 11 of 17 games played. As a team, SEMO ranks third in conference play in points per game, scoring 76.5 points per game and leads the OVC in field goal percentage shooting 48.1% from the field through six OVC games.

The Lions lead the all-time series against the Redhawks 4-3, and are 1-2 all-time in Cape Girardeau. In the most recent matchup between the two squads, SEMO defeated Lindenwood 74-58 at the Show Me Center. Jadis Jones scored 11 points and pulled down seven rebounds in the loss, and Anias Futrell scored nine points and grabbed six boards.
