Lindenwood Men's Volleyball improved to 3-1 on the 2026 season as the Lions went a perfect 2-0 in the Under Armour Challenge last Friday and Saturday night. Lindenwood started the Challenge by upsetting #12 CSUN in four sets. Four different Lions had ten or more kills in the match against the Matadors, with
Owen Walsh leading the Lions offensively with 14 kills on a .722 hitting percentage.
Zach Solomon set a season and match-high 47 assists in the ranked win over CSUN and added three service aces, while
Caden Whiteside had 13 kills and
Amir Grant recorded four total blocks to lead LU defensively. Following the upset win over CSUN, the Lions swept Menlo College in three sets asÂ
Brendan Louthain had a match-high 12 kills on a .588 hitting percentage and the team finished the match with a season-high 10 service aces. With the win over CSUN on Friday night, the Lions appeared in the latest AVCA National Collegiate Men's Volleyball poll and are now ranked number 19 with 52 total votes.Â

Scouting The Hawks
Quincy went 8-19 a season ago as a member of the MIVA. The Hawks went 2-14 in the MIVA and were led by returning Outside Hitter Barnabas Fenyvesi. Fenyvesi finished the 2025 season with 181 kills over 78 sets played and was second on last years squad in kills. The Lions swept both matches against the Hawks last season winning both matches in four sets. Lindenwood leads the all-time series with Quincy 29-5 and has won nine straight matches against them dating back to the 2021 season.
