Puck Drop
After sweeping Stonehill at home last weekend, the Lindenwood men's hockey team heads to The Last Frontier this week to face off with Alaska. Puck drop of game one from Fairbanks is set for 10:07 p.m. CT on Friday, with game two following at 8:37 CT Saturday.

Last Time Out
Lindenwood went 2-0 against Stonehill at home last weekend, completing their first sweep since defeating Robert Morris on November 21 & 22.

The Lions rattled off six unanswered goals in a 6-2 victory on Friday night. Each of the six goals were scored by a different player. Giovanni Morneau and Olivier Houde led the Lions with three points on one goal and two assists apiece. Lindenwood went 2-3 on the power play while Stonehill went 0-2.

LU dominated from the start on Saturday, taking an early 2-0 lead with back-to-back goals by Michael Bevilacqua and Brady McIsaac and eventually growing their lead to 5-0 before Stonehill was able to find their first goal in the third period. Nine Lions registered at least one point in the contest, led by Jake Southgate with two goals, Jacob Fletcher and Louis-Philippe Fontaine with two assists, and Brady McIsaac with one goal and one assist.

  • The Alaska offense is led by Michael Citara with 9-10-19. He leads the team in both goals and assists.
  • Lassi Lehti has been the Nanooks' primary option in net, posting a 5-7-2 record with a 2.46 GAA and .922 save percentage.
