Following 14 consecutive away matches to begin the season, the Lindenwood women's volleyball team makes their long-awaited return to Hyland Arena this weekend to host Ohio Valley Conference foe Eastern Illinois. Match one is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Friday with match two set to get underway at 2:00 p.m. Saturday. 

Series History
Lindenwood is 4-5 all-time against EIU, losing three times in Charleston last season, including a narrow 3-2 defeat in the opening round of the OVC Tournament. The Lions are 3-1 against the Panthers in Hyland Arena. All four previous meetings in St. Charles have been decided in straight sets.

Last Time Out
Lindenwood opened OVC play with a pair of straight set wins over preseason conference favorite Morehead State on the road last weekend. The Lions hit .294 combined with Susanna Beretti registering a team-high 25 kills (4.17 KPS). Kaci Johnson handed out 32 assists (10.67 APS) in each match while Dana Grib and Alayna Rudebeck led LU defensively with 25 digs apiece. The Lions out-blocked the Eagles 16-10, with Ashley Geluck posting a team-high seven total rejections.

  • The Panthers enter this weekend with an overall record of 2-11 with an OVC mark of 1-1 after splitting against Southern Indiana last weekend.
