Puck Drop
The Lindenwood men's hockey team returns to Centene Community Ice Center this weekend to host Omaha for their third home series in four weeks to begin the season. Puck drop for both games is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 23rd and Saturday, October 24th.

Series History
The Lions and Mavericks split their only two previous meetings during the 2024-25 season, with both games being decided by one goal in Omaha. Lindenwood earned a 3-2 win in their inaugural matchup before Omaha came away with a 2-1 victory in the rematch.

Last Time Out
Lindenwood earned a split on the road at Air Force last week, dropping game one by a score of 5-2 before picking up a 7-4 win on Friday to snap a three-game losing streak at the Academy. The Lions lost Thursday's contest despite outshooting the Falcons 46-29. Special teams were the primary difference maker, with Lindenwood going 0-4 with the mad advantage while Air Force scored a pair of power play goals. However, the Lions were able to overcome a two-goal first period deficit the following evening behind four-straight power play goals before putting the game out of reach with a three-goal third period to salvage the split.
