Last Time Out
The Lindenwood Men's Basketball team took down the OVC leading UT Martin Skyhawks last night by a final score of 75-74. Mekhi Cooper connected on a floating bank shot with 4.5 seconds to go in the game to lift the Lions to their fourth win out of their last five games. Jadis Jones scored a game-high 22 points on 8-11 shooting and Dontrez Williams scored 17 points to lead the Lions offensively. Lindenwood shot 55.6% from the floor and scored 50 of their 75 points in the paint en route to their 10th OVC victory of the season. The Lions also forced 17 UTM turnovers that led to 28 points for the Black and Gold. With five games left in the regular season, LU is sitting in fourth place in the OVC standings and is just one game out of first place. 

Scouting The Redhawks
SEMO has won six of their last seven games with their only loss during the seven game stretch coming on Thursday night at SIUE by a final score of 74-56. The Redhawks are currently 10-5 in the OVC and are tied with the Lions at the top of the OVC standings. SEMO is led by Junior Guard Luke Almodovar who is averaging 14.7 points per game this season for the Red and Black, and has scored in double figures in 12 straight games including three 20 plus point performances. 

In the last matchup against SEMO, the Lions won on National TV by a score of 88-76 behind 20 plus point performances each from Anias Futrell, Jadis Jones, and Dontrez Williams. Jones, Williams, and Futrell became just the second trio in the Division I Era to all score 20 or more points in the same game in the matchup against the Redhawks.
