Last Time Out
The Lindenwood Men's Volleyball team rallied from down two sets to none last Thursday at home against #12 McKendree and defeated the Bearcats in a five set thriller to improve to 10-2 on the season and 4-1 in the MIVA. Junior Opposite Hitter Luke Kraft recorded a season and match-high 21 kills to lead the Lions offensively, hitting .471 and adding four service aces to pick up a huge win in the MIVA standings for Lindenwood. Brendan Louthain added 12 kills and two service aces, while Ty Baumgarth had seven kills on a match-high .636 hitting percentage and Zach Solomon finished the match with 49 assists, which was one assist shy of tying his season-high in the match with McKendree. With the victory, the Lions have tied their season win total from a season ago (10) with 14 regular season matches to go and improved to 8-0 inside Hyland Arena in 2026.
 
Scouting The Wildcats
Fort Valley State is 4-10 on the 2026 season with wins over Quincy, Queens, Barton College, and Emmanuel University. The Wildcats are led offensively by Senior Outside Hitter Isaiah Fedd, who has 185 kills across 14 matches played. Fedd averages 3.7 kills per set which ranks him 14th in the country, and also leads Fort Valley in service aces with 18. He has recorded 10 or more kills in 10 out of 14 matches this season, and has four matches wth 20 or more kills. On the other side of the net, Senior Middle Blocker Taviian Martin leads the team in blocks with 41, while Freshman Setter Logan Rogers leads the Wildcats in digs with 66. 

The matchups between Fort Valley State and Lindenwood marks the first and second all-time meeting between the two squads.
