Last Time Out
Lindenwood split their doubleheader with the Bradley Braves on Wednesday by dropping the first game 10-0 and bouncing back in game two with a 9-1 win in five innings. Senior infielder Tori Hatton led the Lions offensively in the victory over the Braves, as she went 3-3 from the plate and drove in two runs behind a home run to left center field and two singles to center and left field. In the circle, Lucy Pratt collected her second win of the 2026 season as she threw 2.2 innings out of the bullpen and allowed one run and added a strikeout to her season total. Senior Pitcher Avery Wapp finished the game for the Lions by throwing 1.1 innings and adding two more strikeouts to her season and career totals. Wapp picked up her first save of the season as she entered the contest with the bases loaded in the top of the fourth inning and the tying run at the plate. Wapp needed just three pitches to end the Bradley threat and kept Lindenwood in front by a score of 5-1. Anna Sanders would end the game for LU in the bottom of the fifth as she hit a two-run double to center field to send the Lions home with a 9-1 win in game two of the doubleheader. 

Scouting the Opposition

• Tennessee Tech is fifth in the OVC Standings with a 3-3 conference record. The Golden Eagles swept Tennessee State last weekend to improve to 3-3 in conference play. 
• Sophomore infielder Jailynn Paderez leads TTU in batting average with a .344. Fellow Sophomore infielder Ashley Capelouto leads Tech in hits (21), home runs (5) and RBI (23),
• In the circle, Senior pitcher Addison Abell leads Tennessee Tech in ERA with a 3.10. Junior Pitcher Emily York leads the Golden Eagles in wins (4) and strikeouts (40). 
• Abell's 3.10 ERA ranks second best in the OVC this season.
