LEADING OFF
Lindenwood baseball makes their return to the Lou Brock Sports complex for an Easter Weekend OVC series against Southeast Missouri this Thursday through Saturday. The Lions enter the weekend still searching for their first conference win of the season. The Lions are 1-8 all-time against the Redhawks, picking up their first win in the series with a 10-4 victory in Cape Girardeau last April.

LAST TIME OUT
The Lions came away with a 3-1 win at Southern Illinois on Tuesday night for their first ever victory over the Salukis. With the game tied 1-1 in the ninth, Jake Radosevich scored the go-ahead run for Lindenwood with a solo home run to left center. Radosevich and Charlie Isom-McCall both went 2-4 to lead the Lions offensively, while five Lindenwood pitchers combined to allow just four hits. Easton Rakers got the win while allowing no runs on one hit with three strikeouts through the game's final three innings.

NOTES TO KNOW
  • Lindenwood enters the weekend with an overall record of 12-16, including an 8-8 record at home.
  • Lindenwood is batting .241 as a team this season, which is the second-lowest average in the OVC. Mathew Graf leads the Lions with a .333 batting average.

SCOUTING THE REDHAWKS

The Redhawks were on a 13-game win streak before dropping their series opener at Western Illinois last weekend but have won their three following games – most recently 8-1 over Murray State on Tuesday.
  • SEMO is batting .320 as a team this season, which is tied for best in the OVC. They lead the conference in runs (236), hits (314), and homers (31).
  • Joe Hall is batting .375 with a team-high 45 hits. He is second on the team in RBIs (32) and home runs (7), trailing only Cal Sullivan with 33 RBIs and eight home runs.
  • The Redhawk's staff ERA of 5.44 is second best in the OVC and they lead the league with 249 strikeouts. SEMO ace Mason Pennington is 5-1 with a 3.93 ERA and a team-leading 37 strikeouts.
