Last Time Out
Lindenwood swept Southern Indiana in a three game series at home last weekend and improved to 5-7 in the Ohio Valley Conference. Samantha Roulanaitis and Kylee Crowder had great weekends for the Lions as they were named the Player and Pitcher of the Week in the OVC on Monday afternoon. Roulanaitis pitched a complete game shutout in the opening game of the series against the Screaming Eagles, allowing three total hits and striking out one to pick up her second consecutive complete game shutout of the week. The Sophomore pitcher picked up her first career save in game two of Sunday's douleheader, pitching the final 1.1 innings of the game and recorded a key strikeout in the top of the sixth inning with runners on first and second base with the Lions up 3-2. Meanwhile, Crowder hit .778 (7-9) and had two hits in each game of the series against USI. The Senior Utility player added two steals and finished with an on base percentage of .818 to lead the Lions to their first OVC series sweep of the 2026 season. 

Scouting the Opposition

• TSU is winless so far on the 2026 season.
• Junior infielder Jace Jackson leads the Tigers in several offensive categories including batting average (.373), triples (4), and hits (28). 
• Redshirt Freshman Right Handed Pitcher Chelsi Ervin leads TSU in ERA with a 4.90 in 10 appearances this season. Batters are hitting .291 against her this season which is the best among the Tiger pitching staff. 

Stats To Know

• The Lions lead the OVC in team batting average with a .297.
• Lindenwood scored their most runs in a single inning in the Division I Era with 15 on Sunday in game one of the doubleheader against USI. 
• LU has 151 RBI so far this season with 16 regular season games to go. The current Division I Era record for team RBI in a single season is 160 which was set last season in 2025.
