LEADING OFF
The Lindenwood baseball team takes another detour into non-conference play with a midweek contest against Southern Illinois at the Lou Brock Sports Complex on Tuesday evening. The Lions and Salukis met in Carbondale earlier this season, with the Lions coming away with a 3-1 win for their first ever victory over SIU.
NOTES TO KNOW
- Lindenwood has an overall record of 24-19 with a 12-3 record during the month of April. The Lions are 8-2 at home during that stretch.

WEEKEND REWIND
- Lindenwood took two of three against Little Rock over the weekend for their fourth consecutive OVC series win.
- The Lions limited the Trojans to four total runs on the weekend while holding them to a .207 batting average. Lucas Niemeyer and Easton Rakers combined for Lindenwood's first shutout of OVC play in a 3-0 win on Sunday.
- In two relief appearances, Easton Rakers allowed zero runs on just two hits with a pair of strikeouts through 4.1 innings. He held Little Rock to a .133 batting average.
- Will Geary led Lindenwood offensively, going 4-12 with an RBI and one run scored.
