LEADING OFF
The Lindenwood baseball team travels to Evansville for a midweek contest against the Purple Aces on Wednesday for what will be the first meeting between the two programs on the diamond.

LAST TIME OUT
The Lions took two of three against SEMO over the weekend to secure their first OVC series win of the season. LU bookended the three-game set with a pair of near shutouts, with Josh Newell tossing a complete game while allowing zero earned runs in Thursday's 3-2 win before Lucas Niemeyer, Aaron Jungers, and Easton Rakers combined to allow no earned runs in Saturday's 7-1 victory.

NOTES TO KNOW
  • Lindenwood enters the weekend with an overall record of 14-17 with a 4-8 mark on the road. The Lions are 6-1 in their last seven non-conference games and have a record of 5-1 versus Missouri Valley Conference opponents.
