The 2026 Lindenwood women's soccer team gets their first taste of game action on Wednesday night as they host the Missouri Tigers for an exhibition match. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m. at Dave Steward Field at Hunter Stadium.

Meet the Lions

• Lindenwood begins their fifth season at the Division-I level, possessing an overall record of 30-31-16 since making the jump in 2022. The Lions have posted 10 or more wins in back-to-back seasons.
• LU posted a 10-5-5 record last season, finishing third in the OVC before returning to the conference tournament final for the second consecutive year.
• Lindenwood returns a total of eight starters off last year's team, bringing back 160 of 220 (72.7%) starts from the 2025 season.
• The Lions retained four All-OVC selections, including Mackenzie Compton, Tasneem Dizdarevic, Allison Schrumpf, and Alysse Lamb.
• Dave Musso is beginning his ninth season as head coach of the Lindenwood women's soccer program in 2026. He led LU to an OVC Tournament title in 2024 and eclipsed 50 wins with the Lions last season.

About Mizzou

• The Tigers posted an overall record of 4-10-3 last season with a 1-7-2 mark in the SEC.
• Mizzou scored 15 goals in 2025 on an average of 9.17 shots per game while allowing 22 total goals and an average of 12.05 shots per game to their opponents.
• Emily Derucki (1g-4a) and Olivia Chianelli (3g-0a) both registered six points last season to lead all MU returners. Derucki led the squad with 23 shots.
• The Tigers are led by head coach Stefanie Golan, who is entering her fifth season in Columbia.
