The Lindenwood women's tennis team dropped their match against Maryville in a 2-5 loss on Saturday in St. Louis, Mo.
OVERVIEW
The Saints took all three doubles matches against the Lions, but
Natalia Cordero and
Juliana Kulczynski gave their opponents the toughest time, falling in a 4-6 loss in the end.Â
In singles play, two Lions found themselves with wins over the Saints.
Claire Martin won her sets 6-4 and 6-2, while
Paula Sostres Pico had an exciting comeback win after losing her first set 2-6. The Barcelona, Spain native came back to win 7-6 and then 10-8 in her third set, making for a hard-fought victory in the end.
