The Lindenwood field hockey team snapped its two game losing streak Sunday afternoon with a 7-0 blanking of visiting Trine.

The Lady Lions scored twice in the opening 10 minutes, and added two more goals before the first half ended. Haley McCulloch accounted for three of those four goals, marking the second hat trick by a Lindenwood player this year. Ana Maria Llosa had the other score.

In the second half, Lynsey Porter scored twice and McCulloch added another tally to give her four goals on the day.

Julianne Sutton recorded the win in goal, stopping two shots. Lauren Cato finished with three assists and Kelsey Musson had one.

The Lady Lions outshot the Thunder 32-3, and held an 18-2 advantage in penalty corners.

Lindenwood (3-4) travels to Bellarmine next Saturday for an 11:00 a.m. contest.
