Women's Cross Country Finishes Fourth In Price's Debut

The Ira Price cross country era at Lindenwood started on Saturday with the two squads competing at the Washington University Early Bird meet. The women's team finished fourth out of 16 teams, and the men came in 10th out of 18 programs.

Ben McGraw had the best individual finish as he came in 22nd on the men's side, running a time of 20:07. Courtney Heidorn was the leading female runner as she came in 30th with a mark of 16:36.

Also scoring for the Lady Lions were Annabelle Delarue, Ai Shinohara, Rachel Hemphill, and Alexis Gutterman. Delarue was 39th with a mark just under 17 minutes. Shinohara was 43rd with a time of 17:11 and Hemphill was 45th as she finished just six seconds behind her teammate. Gutterman was 64th overall with a time of 18:18.

Others among the top five Lions finishers were Ryan Irvine, Raoul Toscano, Shane Watts, and Jarvis Jackson. Irvine was 61st with a time of 21:08. Toscano and Watts also broke 22 minutes and finished 78th and 93rd, respectively. Jacobs was 111th with a mark of 22:31.
