Box Score The Lindenwood men's soccer team scored and early goal and held on for a 2-1 win over the University of Science of Arts on Sunday afternoon.
Lindenwood got on the scoreboard early after Ivan Romero scored in the 23
rd minute. The first half came to a close with the Lions still leading 1-0.
Romero padded the Lindenwood lead with his second goal of the game in the 76
th minute. Science and Arts scored a late goal to trim the lead but was unable to get the equalizer.
With the win the Lions have now won four games in a row and have evened in their record at 7-7. Up next for Lindenwood is a home game against Harris-Stowe on Tuesday night.
