Lindenwood rallied in the third to score three runs and the game was tied at 3-3 after that inning. But in the fourth, the Pioneers scored seven runs on five hits to pull away.
Bright spots on offense for the Lions included a three for three day by Daniel Sandello and a two-hit game for Mike Moore, who also scored and drove in a run in the loss.
