The Lindenwood men's lacrosse squad opened its Spring Break trip with a 16-9 setback against Florida State. The contest was close for three quarters but the Seminoles pulled away in the fourth.

Dan Ashlock faced 35 shots in the game and made 19 saves. Josh Arras led the offense with one goal and three assists, and Jordan McKay had two goals and one assist. John Pettis had a team-high four groundballs and also had one goal.

Lindenwood falls to 8-2 on the season. The Lions will face Saint Leo on Tuesday evening.
