The No. 4 Lindenwood women's lacrosse team picked up a 19-5 victory over Central Florida on Wednesday night in Orlando, Fla. The Lady Lions dominated from the start, leading 11-3 at halftime and never being threatened in the second half.
Justiene Groothuis led the way with six goals and an assist.
Lexi Crusha added four goals and three assists.
Eleni Papadakos had a hat trick and also captured nearly every faceoff she took on the night.
Kathryn St. George and
Kara Cashen each scored twice, and the other goals came from
Bailey Segboer and
Klaysa Fitzpatrick.
Christine Hehmeyer made 11 saves in goal.
Lindenwood improves to 9-3 on the season. The Lady Lions will face No. 3 Florida on Friday evening in Gainesville, Fla.
