The Lindenwood men's lacrosse team picked up its second conference victory of the season on Sunday afternoon at Hunter Stadium with an 11-6 win over Wisconsin.
The Lions and Badgers tied 6-6 in the first and third periods of the game, but Lindenwood outscored Wisconsin 5-0 in the second and fourth quarters for the victory.
Jordan McKay sparked the win with two goals and two assists.
Andrew Peterson was the leading goal scorer as he had a hat trick. Other goals came from
Josh Arras,
John Pettis,
Richard Wilson,
McNein Hewitt,
Tyler Davis, and
Carter McCracken. Arras and
William DelGrosso each had an assist.
Julian Barnes had a team-high six groundballs, and
Dan Ashlock made nine saves.
Lindenwood improved to 5-1 on the year and 2-0 in conference play. The Lions will be in action again on March 15 against Minnesota.
