Men's Lacrosse Upsets Another Ranked Opponent At Hunter Stadium

The Lindenwood men's lacrosse team upset its second straight ranked opponent on Sunday afternoon. The Lions remained perfect at Hunter Stadium with a 17-16 overtime victory over No. 16 Illinois.

The victory was a team effort, especially on the offensive end as 12 of its 17 goals were assisted. Greg Cameron finished with six goals and three assists to lead the offense. Andrew Peterson added four goals and Jordan McKay had three goals and two assists. Brandon Stuebing had a pair of goals and led the team with eight groundballs. Richard Wilson added six groundballs and William DelGrosso had four.

Lindenwood improves to 12-6 overall with the win and 8-0 on its home turf. The Lions will look to remain undefeated at home on April 29 when Indiana comes to town.
