The Lindenwood Lions baseball team split a pair of games against the Evangel Crusaders on Friday afternoon in Springfield, Mo. Lindenwood also won a game that started on Thursday but was postponed due to weather. The Lions won the postponed game 3-2. In game three of the weekend series the Lions fell 5-3, but won game four 13-7.
The Lions started the day at 9 a.m. when they came from behind to win the contest that started a day earlier. The game was suspended in the fourth inning with Evangel leading 1-0.
Lindenwood moved its overall record to 30-21 and its HAAC record to 18-8. Up next for the Lions is a nonconference matchup against McKendree on Tuesday afternoon in St. Charles.
