The No. 18 Lindenwood men's lacrosse team finished its regular season this weekend with two home victories. The Lions end the year with a 10-0 record at Hunter Stadium and they have now won 16 straight home games.
On Friday night, Lindenwood picked up a 15-2 win over Indiana. The Lions had a 5-1 lead at halftime of the game, and it then outscored the Hoosiers 10-1 in the second half.
Richard Wilson led the Lions with one goal, two assists, and eight groundballs.
Jordan McKay had three goals and two assists, and
Greg Cameron also scored three times.
Dan Ashlock started in goal and made eight saves, and
Adam Ure finished the contest in the net and made two saves.
Saturday afternoon, Lindenwood earned a 9-4 win over Miami (Ohio). The Lions never trailed in the contest after they scored the first five goals of the game.
McKay led the offense again with three goals.
William DelGrosso had one goal and three groundballs.
Daniel Strike had a team-high five groundballs and
Julian Barnes had four. Wilson was 15 of 16 on faceoffs.
Lindenwood ends the regular season with a 14-6 overall record. The Lions will host the conference tournament next weekend at Hunter Stadium.
