Box Score The Lindenwood baseball team lost 6-3 to the Central Oklahoma Bronchos in game two of a three-game weekend series in Edmond, Okla.

Both teams started the contest scoring one run each in the first inning. Lindenwood scored another run in the second but the Bronchos took control of the contest with three runs in the bottom of the inning.

The Lions scored a run in the fifth to cut the Central Oklahoma advantage to one. But everytime Lindenwood scored, the home team had an answer. The Bronchos scored a run in the sixth to push the lead back to two, and then got an all important insurance run in the seventh.

Central Oklahoma out hit the Lions 8-5 and Lindenwood committed one error. Wade Rothermich led the Lions at the plate going two-for-three with a run scored. Austin Klein started on the hill and went 6 1/3 innings giving up four earned runs.

With the loss Lindenwood drops its record to 15-14. These two teams will be back in action Sunday afternoon for the finale of the three-game series.
