The newly created Lindenwood debate program traveled to its first event in team history and returned with two awards at the Ulrich Invitational, hosted by the University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, Iowa.

Lindenwood entered a team in both the Junior division and the Novice division.  The Lions team of Adam Mire and Calvin Parnon were Novice champions and Mire also earned the top speaker award in the division.

Lindenwood next competes at the Baby Joe Memorial in Kansas City, Kan. September 21-24.
