Both Lindenwood teams posted 2-6 records in the preliminary rounds at the Cross Examination Debate Association (CEDA) National Tournament March 20-23 in Wichita, Kan. Five wins were needed to advance to the elimination stage.
 
Charles De Leon and Alex Johnson were victorious in rounds two and five, while the duo of Logan Swinford and Hannah Ward won rounds six and eight. 
 
Head coach Ravi Rao was satisfied with the outcome.
 
"Our teams did very well this year, given our program's young age and the loss of two of our best performers from last season," he said.  "This just gives our students even more determination to hit the ground running next year!"
 
The CEDA National Tournament included 116, two-person teams from over 30 schools from around the country.
