Lindenwood mascot Leo the Lion competed in a Best Mascot contest at the Chesterfield Mall in Chesterfield, Mo. Sunday afternoon.

With support from Lindenwood cheerleaders, Leo attempted to dance his way to the top spot in a field of many St. Louis area mascots. Ultimately, Leo failed to advance and the first place trophy was awarded to Shiver from the St. Charles Chill hockey team.
