The Lindenwood women's tennis team beat Concordia 8-1 at home on Friday to end the season. The Lady Lions finish with an overall record of 7-11 this season.
Lindenwood swept doubles play and took five out of the six singles matches on the way to the win.
Adela Slovakova won at number one singles 6-3 and 6-0, while teammate
Daria Ivanova won the number three singles match 6-1 and 6-1.
Alexandra Medvedeva (6-3, 6-4),
Sarah Sharpe (6-1, 6-2) and
Shreeja Karki (6-1, 6-4) also earned wins for Lindenwood on the day. Number two singles player
Gloria Marras was forced to retire in the first set after feeling ill.
