The Lindenwood Women's Tennis team opened the 2026-27 season at the Lindenwood Invite on September 11 and 12. The Lions earned a 4-3 victory over SIUE in singles play on day one while splitting their two doubles matches against the Cougars. Lindenwood also picked up three wins in four doubles matches against Washington University to close out the opening day.

Sofia Loglo led the way for the Lions with four overall victories during the tournament. Three of her wins came in doubles play, including two alongside Fabiana Labrador, while she also earned a singles victory over SIUE's Aliya Rector, 6-3, 7-5. Labrador, Loglo and Mathilde Humbert each went undefeated in doubles play, with the trio combining for a 6-0 record.

Paola Garcia finished second on the team with three overall victories, going 2-1 in doubles play alongside Megan Caffin and Loglo. Garcia also picked up her singles win of the tournament on day two, defeating Washington University's Lily Brecknock, 6-3, 6-3.

Megan Caffin, Danielle Wei and Labrador each recorded two overall victories, while Sarah Ben Aba, Humbert and Haylen Hughes each finished with one win.

Lindenwood will wrap up their fall schedule with a trip to Memphis, Tennessee for the ITA Regional Championships. The event will begin on Thursday, October 15 and will run through Monday, October 19.
