Findlay and Tijerina Named 2012-13 USA Rugby All-Americans

Fullback Morgan Findlay and prop Austin Tijerina were both named USA Rugby Men's Collegiate All-Americans for the 2012-13 season.

Findlay and Tijerina earned honorable mention team honors for the 15's and Findlay earned a spot on the honorable mention team for the 7's competition.

The selections were compiled by USA Rugby AIG Men's Collegiate All-American Sevens Head Coach Tony Pacheco and AIG Men's Collegiate All-Americans Head Coach Matt Sherman.

In addition to the USA Rugby Honors, Lindenwood men's rugby placed two players on the 2013 RugbyMag.com Men's Collegiate All-American selection for the 2012-13 season and three freshmen on the RugbyMag.com All-Freshmen team.

The Lions were undefeated in conference competition, winning the Heart of America Rugby Football Union 7's Tournament championship and the 15's title. The team finished the season with a 12-4 overall record and advanced to the 2013 USA Rugby Division I-AA National Championship before falling in the final seconds against the University of Central Florida.
